Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike has revealed that the only agenda former PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu came to fulfill is to enrich himself through the party’s chairmanship.
Wike made this revealation during a media chat on Tuesday morning which was duly monitored by Kukuruku News.
Wike was asked if he would had supported PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 poll if the chairmanship of the party had gone to the South as demanded by the G-5 governors.
Wike said “first of all, if we made the demand, he did not yield to the demand. So of what importance is the question of if he had? To me it’s over”.
When asked about the allegation flying up and down that the party is broke despite making billions from the sales of nomination forms, Wike said:
