Nigerian singer Tems has extended her record as the most certified female artist from Nigeria in the United States.
Following her breakout appearance on Wizkid’s hit single “Essence,” Tems’ song “Found” achieved immense commercial success, garnering over 119 million streams on Spotify.
Tems’ latest certification adds to her impressive credentials:
- Three platinum certifications: “Wait For U” (with Future), “Free Mind,” and “Found”
- Two RIAA gold certifications: “Higher” and EP “For Broken Ears” (first Nigerian female artist with an RIAA gold-certified album)
- Joined Rema and Wizkid as Nigerian artists with RIAA-certified projects

Notably:
- Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” (fourth album) and Rema’s “Raves & Roses” (debut album) have both achieved RIAA gold certification.
