Campaigning for the Labour Party Candidate, Athan Achonu, in preparation for the forthcoming November 11 Governorship Election in Imo state, Peter Obi has rallied the State’s Electorates to cast their votes for a “human being.”
At the Labour Party Rally held at Kanu Nwankwo Complex in Owerri, Obi Passionately Expressed, “Ndi Imo, we are now asking you to Vote for a Human being, and things will start Changing in Imo.”
Asserting his Confidence in achieving Transformative Change, Obi continued, “We know what it takes to change Imo.
We know what it takes to change every Part of Nigeria.
That’s why we are here.” He called upon the entire Imo Population to participate actively in the November 11 Election and to Vote for Senator Athan Achonu and Tony Nwulu.
The Event saw the Presence of Prominent Figures including Alex Otti, Abia State Governor, and Julius Abure, Labour Party National Chairman, emphasizing the Significance of the Campaign.
In the race for the Gubernatorial Seat, the Labour Party’s Achonu will Contest against the Incumbent Governor Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
