Malala Yousafzai, the Nobel Prize Winner and Global advocate for Girls’ Education, recently shared her Admiration for Diverse Cultures and her love for trying new Foods, during an Interview with Channels Television.
Considered a Citizen of the World, Malala Expressed her Belief in celebrating different Cultures, and Traditions and enjoying their Culinary Delights.
She particularly mentioned her Fondness for Nigerian Cuisine, including Jollof Rice, Plantain, and the popular Nigerian Snack called ‘Puff Puff’.
Recounting a Memorable experience, Malala revealed that she had the opportunity to taste Nigerian Puff Puff just before delivering a Speech at the United Nations.
She described the experience as “amazing” and considered it the Best thing she had done before her Momentous UN Address.
The UN Speech, delivered on her 16th Birthday, highlighted the Importance of Girls’ Education and earned her Widespread Recognition.
Despite facing Adversity, Including Surviving an attack by Taliban Militants in 2012, Malala’s Determination and Resilience have been Unwavering.
Her Powerful Advocacy for Girls’ Education led to the Declaration of “Malala Day” by the United Nations on July 12, 2014, in recognition of her Inspiring efforts Worldwide.
During her visit to Nigeria, Malala met with Vice President Kashim Shettima and Urged Political Leaders to prioritize Investment in Girls’ Education.
She firmly believes that every Girl should have Equal Access to Education and the opportunity to pursue her Dreams.
