Former president of the United States of America, Donald Trump has reportedly been arrested.
Trump surrendered before the Manhattan Grand Jury on Tuesday
Kukuruku News reports that Trump is the first ever former US president to be arrested.
The ex-president is facing charges over hush money payments made to an adult actress just before the 2016 presidential election.
Furthermore, Trump is expected to face over 30-count charges related to business fraud as part of a probe into the $130,000 payout to Stormy Daniels, the adult actress, in an attempt to buy her silence over an alleged affair.
Trump’s legal team had disclosed that the former president will plead not guilty and challenge the charges.
