Buni emphasised his administration’s commitment to education, stating that over 38,000 students have benefited from the state scholarship scheme.

This marks the fourth consecutive time his administration has granted scholarships to law graduates to attend the Nigerian Law School.

127 graduates applied for sponsorship and were awarded N475,000 tuition fee with a laptop computer to facilitate their studies.

I am glad to state that our government has been consistent in sponsoring students to pursue education both at home and abroad, with over 38,000 benefiting from the state scholarship scheme under this administration.

This event marks the fourth consecutive time this administration is granting scholarships to law graduates to attend the Nigerian Law School, “he revealed.

The governor also highlighted the administration’s efforts in employing graduates who studied medical and allied courses in Indian universities, with 140 out of 189 graduates already employed and the remaining 49 to be absorbed soon.

He reassured that the government will continue prioritizing education and supporting citizens in pursuing education at all levels.

You should abide by the rules and regulations of the institution and avoid issues that are detrimental to your studies.

You should remain good ambassadors of the state to make us proud,” the Governor said.

He charged the students to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution, avoid detrimental issues, and remain good ambassadors of the state.

This initiative is part of the Recovery Through Education and Scholarships framework, aimed at equipping Yobe’s youth with skills and knowledge for socio-economic growth.
