A former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has said that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu will work with other presidential candidates that lost out in the February 25 election with the view of building a Nigeria of our dream.
He said this was necessary so that other contestants and their followers can join him in the task of building a new Nigeria.
Oshiomhole, the Senator Elect for Edo North and Deputy Director General of the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council, said he was relieved and elated that Nigerians chose Tinubu over other contestants for the highest office in the land because of his superior vision for solving the problems facing the nation and meeting the aspirations of Nigerians.
In a statement by Oshiomhole’s chief media aide, Victor Oshioke, and made available to Newsmen, said that the former governor of the state reiterate that those who have had the opportunity of working closely with the former governor of Lagos State never doubted the fact that he is the best person for the job at this time.
Oshiomhole said: “Your impressive private and public sector experience are the right credentials needed at this time to put this great nation on the right path of peace, prosperity, and progress.
“During the campaign, you went around the entire length and breadth of Nigeria with your mission document titled “Renewed Hope” which captured in clear realizable terms how you would govern this nation through creative leadership, if elected.
“With your victory, we are now at the dawn of that hope. I am confident that this mandate given to you by Nigerians from all walks of life is a testimony that your visionary leadership credentials appealed to all, irrespective of their religious, ethnic and social diversities. Nigerians have taken a leap of faith with you, and this day will be remembered in history as the first step that led this nation to its desired greatness.”
