Reports from Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, indicate that the El-Kanami Stadium, where the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign event is set to take place, is full to capacity with party supporters. According to sources, the stadium is occupied by enthusiastic APC supporters who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, to commence the event. The reports suggest that the supporters turned out in large numbers to show support and unity with Kashim Shettima, the party’s vice presidential candidate and a Borno native. Shettima, who has served two terms as governor, currently represents Borno central in the National Assembly.
