President Bola Tinubu was with other African leaders at the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on Tuesday.
Tinubu was spotted alongside Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan,and others at the summit.
KUKURUKU had previously reported that Tinubu arrived at Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to attend the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, which started on January 27.
The President, who arrived at 10.20 p.m. (8.20 p.m. Nigerian time), was received by the Foreign Minister of Tanzania, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, and Chargé d’ Affaires of Nigeria High Commission to Tanzania, Ambassador Salisu Suleiman.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, had on Monday also stated that the goal is to ensure energy security, affordability and sustainability.
He’s not here just for the fun of it. Mr President will announce a dynamic, compact initiative coming from Nigeria that will help push this agenda forward,” Dare told journalists.
The two-day summit is reportedly being hosted by the government of Tanzania, the African Union, the African Development Bank Group and the World Bank Group.
