The Federal Capital Territory ( FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has said that the projects his administration was promoting are not just to have something to show for President Bola Tinubu’s one year in office, but because the President is determined to strengthen citizens’ trust in the Government.
The minister stated this over the weekend when he inspected the ongoing Vice President’s official residence project. The project, said to be billed for inauguration by May 29, 2024, is being handled by Julius Berger Construction Company. While he assured that residents will continue to get value for the money spent on any project, he also noted that citizen’s trust in the government will become stronger with the President’s commitment to his promises.

“Let the residents know that the renewed hope agenda is a reality, because if you don’t tell people this has been done nobody will know that things have been done. “Let people know that yes, this is the promise we made, and within one year in office, this is what we have been able to achieve, as far as FCT is concerned. “Not just the infrastructure, changing the structure of FCT is another achievement,” the minister said.
