The 2023 House of Representatives candidate of the All progressives congress, Hon. Paul Johnson Afagase in an interview says that his political ideology is service to the people and bringing government to the door step of every angle in Nigeria.
Hon. Paul who is also an astute businessman, reemphasized firmly to Kukuruku Broadcasting Network team during the interview on the current state of government in our country, that president Bola Amed Tinubu is doing his best to stabilize the economy, to restore security back to the people, and also protect lives and properties of the people.
He added that the parallel market of dollar is going down and the naira is getting stronger against the dollar. He also expressed optimism that few years from now the populace will begin to see positive effects of Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.
According to him, while growing up as a child he was inspired by chief Obafemi Awolowo for his track records and accomplishments in the area of free education policy and more. which made a lot of impact in the south west, some part of the south south and the mid-west region.
During the interview Hon. Paul went further to say that politicians are selfless in nature, and their aim is to ensure that citizens get a better life. He revealed that non-politicians and the politicians are all suffering from the same insecurity in country and encourages non-politicians to be patient with the politicians.
He said “my basic purpose of coming into politics is not for myself, is for the people. And, if I have the privilege to serve the people I want to make an impact. Impact that even when I depart from this world it will still be in the record just like my idol, Chief Obafemi Awolowo. I want to create a name even years after I’ve departed this world that my name will be written on the rock and they will be positive things to say about me”.
