Swearing-in of New CCB Chairman
Before the meeting, President Tinubu sworn in Dr. Abdullahi Bello as the new Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB). Bello emphasized the importance of integrity and accountability among public servants and pledged to uphold the Bureau’s mandate.
Bello stated, “I will ensure that public servants behave with integrity, avoid corruption, and prevent conflicts of interest.” He also highlighted Nigeria’s existing systems and institutions to combat corruption and plans to leverage technology for integrity and prevention.
