A 42-year-old teacher, Gbolahan Osinusi, has been arrested by detectives from the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a student for five years, starting when she was just 12 years old ¹. The teacher is also accused of forcing the girl to undergo multiple abortions after impregnating her.

Case Details

  • The victim was under Osinusi’s care as her guardian.
  • The abuse continued until the girl turned 17 in December 2023.

  • He took her to nurse Mariam Fatolu for abortion drugs whenever she became pregnant.

Investigation and Charges

The police in FESTAC town, Lagos, have launched a manhunt for Mariam Fatolu, who performed the abortions and is currently on the run ¹.
