Despite the huge amount spent in the purchase of buses for evacuation of Nigerian students from war-torn Sudan, buses conveying students were said to have abruptly stopped in the Sahara dessert.
In a viral video seen by Kukuruku News on Twitter, some of the students complained that their drivers abruptly stopped in the lonely dessert and refused to move further after complaining of not being paid for their service.
The students pleaded with Abike Dabiri Erewa, Chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora, the Nigerian Government as well as the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to come to their rescue.
