Shell Nigeria Gas Limited (SNG) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ralph Gbobo as the new Managing Director, effective from July 1st, 2023.
Ralph will be taking over the Position from Ed Ubong, who has transitioned to a different role within the Shell Group.
Before this appointment, Ralph served as the Manager, Commercial and Non-Operated Ventures at The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) and also held the position of Shell Shareholders Representative for seven SPDC onshore non-operated Venture assets.
With his extensive Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, Ralph brings Valuable expertise to SNG.
Markus Hector, the General Manager of Shell Energy Nigeria, expressed his confidence in Ralph’s appointment, stating that it reflects his Diligence, Competence, and Commitment to Shell’s core Values.
Hector emphasized Shell’s dedication to powering progress by providing more and cleaner energy to Businesses in Nigeria.
As the new Managing Director of SNG, Ralph will be Responsible for leading the Company and ensuring the safe delivery of its Domestic gas growth objectives.
He has a strong passion for unlocking the potential of the Domestic gas-to-energy Value Chain, which will contribute to the Development of the Nigerian Economy.
