The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and Governors, on Sunday, celebrated fallen heroes for paying the supreme sacrifice to protect the sovereignty of the Country.
Akpabio said Nigeria’s unity came at a great price and the sustenance and defence of this unity rest on the shoulders of the men and women of the Armed Forces.
He also said President Bola Tinubu-led government was focused on ensuring Nigeria remained an inseparable and indivisible entity.
Akpabio spoke at an Interdenominational Church Service for the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.
