Residents of Damgma and Wupa Communities in Jiwa and Gwagwa wards of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) has expressed joy over the administration’s execution of pro-people projects in various communities of the Council.
In a statement by Senior Special Assistants to AMAC Chairman, Kingsley Madaki noted that the Village Head of the Damgma Community Chief Ayuba Sunday made the commendation during the commissioning of the constructed Solar powered borehole with over five station points in the community.
Sunday stated that the community has never seen a chairman so closer to his people in rural projects provision such as the current AMAC Chairman adding that, the provision of water is very essential facility that will safe every member of the community against diseases and reduction of water related diseases in the community.
A resident of Wupa community known as Uzor Daniel said that Maikalangu has proven his capability by providing the community with the installation of rural electricity in the community, adding that this will boost economic activities in the area.
Chairman of AMAC, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu advised the residents of the communities to always protect government installations and facilities in their domains noting that they should expect more projects in their communities.
He vowed that he will be going round AMAC communities to monitor the rate of work going on in the communities, warning contractors to deliver exactly the jobs given to them by the council or risk revocation of their contracts.
