Tinubu acknowledged the crucial role of Nigeria’s armed forces as the Federal Government’s first line of defense.

- Donations: Significant contributions were made to support the armed forces, including N500m from the Federal Government, N200m from the National Assembly, and N50m from top security heads.

2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebrations
The ceremony marked the beginning of preparations for the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, scheduled for January 15, 2025 ². Other planned events include:
