The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has impounded a long container truck containing 70,000 litres of stolen petroleum products hidden in an inbuilt storage tank in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to a post on Monday via X, the NSCDC noted that the operation was carried out by the NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad as part of ongoing efforts to combat oil theft and illegal bunkering in the region.

Confirming the development, the NSCDC stated that the truck was intercepted following intelligence reports on the activities of oil thieves operating in the area.
