Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 General Elections, has urged President Bola Tinubu to clarify his Identity amid recent Allegations.

Obi made this request during a Press Conference in Abuja, following the release of Tinubu’s Academic Records by Chicago State University (CSU) at the request of Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate.

The former Governor of Anambra called on President Tinubu to Disclose the schools he attended, confirm whether he participated in the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme, and address Allegations of a name change at any point in his life.

Obi emphasized that as the President of Nigeria, Tinubu no longer has a right to Privacy regarding his Identity.

“President Tinubu should Reintroduce himself to Nigerians.

He should tell us the schools he attended if he participated in NYSC, and whether he changed his name at any time.

We need to know these things because he is the President of Nigeria,” Obi stated.

Obi also stressed the need to resolve what he described as an International embarrassment due to Identity Crises surrounding the President.

He said, “Nigeria is an International laughing stock because of President Tinubu’s Identity Crisis.

We need to put an end to this embarrassment.”

Peter Obi’s call follows Atiku Abubakar’s release of President Tinubu’s academic records, which showed that Tinubu graduated from CSU in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.

Atiku has raised doubts about the Authenticity of Tinubu’s Certificate, suggesting that it may have been Forged.

During a previous Press Conference, Atiku invited Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and other Nigerians to Join his quest for “Justice” in this matter.
