The Newly sworn in Governor of Ondo State has swung into action with five new key appointments barely 12hrs after his swearing-in ceremony.
This was contained in a statement signed by the State Deputy Chief of Staff, Olusegun Omojuwa on Wednesday. Aiyedatiwa announced a seasoned journalist, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, as his Chief Press Secretary and Sunday Abire as Special Assistant on New Media.
Other appointments are: Smart Omodunbi as Special Assistant to the Governor (Political Matters), Motunrayo Oyedele as Special Assistant to the Governor (Photography), and Temitayo Iperepolu as Special Assistant to the Governor (Domestic and Government House).
Aiyedatiwa took the oath of office as the 7th governor of the state following the passing of Governor Akeredolu who died of prostate cancer early hours of Wednesday Morning in a German Hospital.
Adeniyan, who was appointed as the new Chief Press Secretary is a multiple-award-winning journalist, media consultant, author, unionist, and Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of TRACE News Magazine.
Before his new appointment, he was the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the immediate past Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye.
