
The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, passed away yesterday at the age of 95 following a brief Illness.
The late Monarch, known for his prosperous business ventures and sophisticated lifestyle, spent a significant portion of his life in Lagos and notably Served as the Chairman of Nestle Nigeria Plc.
In response to the news of his Demise, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, expressed profound sorrow, emphasizing the magnitude of the Loss not only to Ebiraland and Kogi State but also to the Nation as a whole.
Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, the Kogi State Gubernatorial Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), similarly mourned the Loss of the revered Monarch, characterizing it as a Calamity for the people of the State.
Ajaka underscored the Imperative need for the late Ohinoyi’s unifying guidance and wisdom during a Critical time of Unity and Strength.
Likewise, Ahmed Usman Ododo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial Candidate, eulogized the late Ohinoyi as a Paternal figure who Championed unity within his Community and fostered peaceful coexistence among his Subjects.
Meanwhile, the APC has Suspended all Campaign activities in honor of the late Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
The decision was made by the Ododo/Oyibo Campaign Council, reflecting a show of respect and reverence for the departed Monarch.
The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) joined in expressing sorrow over the demise of the Ohinohi of Ebiraland, highlighting his dedication to National Unity and his distinguished reputation as a renowned Businessman of International standing and an unwavering Pillar of support for Arewa affairs.
