The National Orientation Agency, in collaboration with the National Identity Management Commission and the Nigerian Youths Volunteer organised a one day virtual Capacity Building Training Program for Youths.
The event which took place at the NOA conference room in Abuja Thursday June 1st 2023 had in attendance Directors and Heads of the Agencies.

Speaking in an interview, the Director General of National Orientation Agency Dr. Garba Abari said, the Agency is partnering with NIMC and National Youths Volunteer to train Nigerian Youths on skills acquisitions and also create employment opportunities for Nigerian graduates who are jobless on the streets to enable them better their lives, earn a living and become useful in the society.
Dr Abari said, the essence of partnering with NIMC, is to help train young graduates, as NIMC has over 15, thousand registration points across the 36 States which will in return create jobs for them both in the Government and Private sectors, as well as eradicate violence in the society, make them functional to themselves and the society at large.

Also speaking, The Director General National Identity Management Commission Mrs Uche Chigbo, said the training is to enable equip Nigerian Youths with Skill Acquisitions through SDG’s as well as NIMC Registrations for Economic Growth and Development.

Finally, the President and Founder of the Nigerian Youths Volunteer Dr Peter Ayim said, Nigerian Youths Volunteer is partnering with NOA to leverage Volunteerism and create positive engagement opportunity for Millions of Nigerian Youths to build skills, learn social skills and build self esteem that will enable them grow as whole individuals.
The Highpoint of the Capacity Building Training Program featured Power Point Presentations to both the Staff of NOA and as well NIMC Heads across the States.
