The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the dates and venues for the Super Eagles’ final two Group D matches in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series. According to the NFF, the Confederation of African Football has scheduled the matches for November 14 and 18.

    • Venue: Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny, Abidjan
    • Kickoff: 8 pm (Nigerian time), 7 pm (Ivorian time)
    • Referee: Issa Sy (Senegal)
    • Assistants: Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura
    • Fourth Official: El Hadji Amadou Sy
    • Commissioner: Rene Williams Sere (Ivory Coast)
    • Referee Assessor: Inacio Manuel Candido (Angola)
  • November 18 (Matchday 6): Super Eagles vs. Rwanda
    • Venue: Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo

A win or draw against Benin Republic in Abidjan will secure the Super Eagles’ ticket to the 2025 AFCON finals in Morocco.

Background:

The Super Eagles boycotted their last qualifier against Libya due to poor treatment, including a diverted flight and 20-hour airport detention without food, water, or internet facilities.
