Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) launches the NERC service delivery Charter(SERVICOM) on Tuesday 4th April 2023 at the NERC headquarters, CBD, Abuja.
The chairman of NERC, Engr. Sanusi Garba while welcoming invited guest, spoke briefly on the efficiency of the commission and efficient service delivery to clients and various stakeholders.
In a remark the commissioner, consumer affairs Division of NERC, Mrs. Aisha Mahmud emphasized the importance of the launching of the service charter to the consumer affairs Division as well as the whole commission.
She said “the launching of the service charter is to re-affirm the commitment to service delivery and also to reach out to their various stakeholders such as; all the consumers in the electricity sector, staff of the commission, e.t.c. for them to be aware that the commission is out to enforce service standard in the industry and to ensure that they achieve the mission of the service charter which is to promote and ensure investor friendly industry and efficient market structure and also to meet the needs of Nigerians for a safe, reliable, and adequate electricity supply.”
The event was attended by well meaning Nigerians gave their good will messages.
High point of the event was inauguration of parastatals servicom committee and launching of the NERC service charter by the national coordinator of NERC, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli.
