
Leaders of opposition Political parties have been charged to support President Bola Tinubu to build a new Nigeria where Peace and Development thrive.
Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr Samuel Ogbuku, made the call in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Wille Etim, yesterday.
Optimistic that the current challenges facing the Country would be surmounted, Ogbuku expressed hope that progress and Development would be achieved, and things would fall in place soonest.
He said: “The President has Initiated Policies and programs that are set to Improve the Economy, security, physical infrastructure, and Social welfare of Nigerians.
“I am confident that he will restore hope to the Nigerian project.
The President has Inspired millions of Nigerians to believe in the possibility of a brighter future.
I join you (Tinubu) in celebrating this important milestone as you steer our Country toward steady progress and rejuvenation.”
OGBUKU has also assured the people of the Niger Delta that the board is committed to the development of the Region.
According to him, the NDDC currently has the best brains on the board and management, who were picked by Tinubu, where they have former House of Representatives members, former Senators, and former Leaders of the Senate.
He spoke during a reception organised in his honour at his maternal home Yiba-Ama (Oruma) Tugbeni Land in Ogbia Local Council, Bayelsa State.
Ogbuku, who also Inaugurated a road in the Bayelsa Community, said the honor done on him was an expectation for more Development, not only in Bayelsa but in the nine States of the Niger Delta.
In his address, the chairman of the occasion, Mr Chiedu Ebie, who is also the chairman of the NDDC board, described Ogbuku as a Visionary and dedicated Individual whose contribution to the Development of the Niger Delta region is commendable.
Represented by the Director for Projects, Victor Antia, he said the gathering of people from far and near is a Testimony to the Immense respect and admiration they have for Ogbuku.
