Conversely, the Senate approved a Supplementary Budget for various Presidential renovations and Purchases, including an extensive amount for the refurbishment of Presidential quarters and the First Lady’s office.
The breakdown of Allocations showed a substantial portion designated for recurrent and Capital expenditure, with specific provisions for different Sectors and agencies, including the Ministry of Defence, the Federal Ministry of Works, and the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
Additionally, the House of Representatives Increased the Budgetary allocation for the Ministry of Defence due to prevailing Security concerns and approved the minimum wage for Workers, ensuring oversight for its full Implementation.
