OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi is delighted to have finally returned to action after his lengthy injury layoff.
The Nigeria international featured for the first time in almost a year on Saturday in Nice’s 2-1 defeat at Monaco.
Moffi played for eight minutes after replacing Baptiste Santamaria.

The 25-year-old was sidelined for around eight months after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury in training during pre-season.
After his return, the player took to X to express his delight.
Thank you, God,” he wrote on X.Moffi returned to light training in mid-February, before joining the main team earlier this month.
But as usual with players who suffer long-term injuries, Nice have been careful and patient with him to help him reach match fitness and prevent a relapse.
He will aim to get more minutes as he bids to regain full fitness when Nice host Nantes in their next league match on Friday.
Nice are battling to secure a place in the UEFA Champions League.
Since joining the INEOS-owned French club in January 2023 from Lorient, Moffi logged 20 goals and five assists in 52 games with Nice across all competitions
