The Presidency has rescheduled the screening of seven ministerial nominees to Wednesday noon, initially set for Tuesday, to allow nominees to complete documentation and pre-screening exercises. This decision was announced in a statement signed by Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Senate Matters.
New Ministerial Nominees:
- Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
- Nentawe Yilwatda: Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
- Maigari Dingyadi: Minister of Labour and Employment
- Jumoke Oduwole: Minister of Industry
- Idi Maiha: Minister for Livestock Development
- Yusuf Ata: Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development
- Suwaiba Ahmad: Minister of State for Education.

President Tinubu’s recent cabinet reshuffle included sacking five ministers and reassigning 10 others. The Senate, led by President Godswill Akpabio, will conduct the screening of the new nominees on Wednesday.
