Residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, have benefited from free medical tests, treatment, counselling, and corrective eyeglasses through a medical outreach organised by the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, AMAC/ACO Regional Headquarters, Abuja.

The outreach, which covered communities such as Gbaupe, Gosa, and Barwa villages, provided tests for packed cell volume, malaria, typhoid, full blood count, HIV/AIDS, and random blood sugar.

Patients also received treatment for various ailments, including malaria, hypertension, diabetes, sexually transmitted infections, gastrointestinal disorders, as well as dental and eye defects.

Some residents were given corrective eyeglasses, while others with more serious conditions were referred to tertiary hospitals for further care.

Speaking at the outreach, the Regional Overseer of AMAC/ACO, North Central Region 59, Abuja, Pastor Victor Aboluwade, said the initiative was part of the church’s corporate social responsibility.

He added that aside from the medical outreach, the church also awarded full scholarships to indigent but brilliant students of Mountain Top University.

In addition, the church donated food items such as bags of rice, beans, tubers of yam, and cooking ingredients to residents of the area.

“This gesture comes at a time when many people are facing economic hardship, a struggling healthcare system, and rising inflation that has made necessities difficult to afford,” Aboluwade said.

He explained that the outreach aligned with the Explosive Evangelism Initiative of the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, Dr Daniel Olukoya, aimed at winning souls and positively impacting lives.

The Head of the Hospital and Healing Ministry of the church, Sunday Ajimoko, said the outreach was designed to provide immediate relief and lasting impact for residents of rural communities.

Beneficiaries of the programme expressed gratitude for the free medical services.
