Complementing his military achievements, Dr. Deji Ayoade is a trained veterinary surgeon, combat medic, and Nuclear Weapon System Subject Matter Expert (SME), further establishing his diverse skill set.

Deji Ayoade also serves as a Senior Program Analyst and is a civilian member of the U.S. Space Force, working within the Department of Defense at the Pentagon.

However, Dr. Ayoade’s path to success was not easy. Growing up in poverty and facing early life hardships, he turned to storytelling as a means of coping with loss and finding hope.

Through writing, he has found a way to inspire others and share the lessons he’s learned from his unique experiences.

His debut book, Underground: A Memoir of Hope, Faith, and the American Dream, chronicles his extraordinary journey from his humble beginnings to his rise in the U.S. military and beyond.

This memoir offers an intimate look at the trials and triumphs that shaped his life, providing readers with a powerful message of resilience and the transformative power of faith and determination.
