Dr Josef Onoh of the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign in the southeast has derided the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national collation agent, Senator Dino Melaye for his attempt to disrupt the ongoing collation of the Presidential election in Abuja.
Melaye had caused upset with his many objections to the results being announced from different states and attempt to halt the process in motion.
Onoh however said that Melaye was a leopard that will never change its skin, maintaining that the PDP agent was still suffering from a rare variant of Lycanthropy and Ecstasy whose only cure, he said, can be found in a veterinary clinic and not in INEC collation centre.
He wondered why Melaye chose to replay a script that was tested in 2015 but which yielded no dividend, noting that the APC Presidential candidate, Tinubu was coasting to victory despite the opposition’s victory in APCs major strongholds such as Lagos and Katsina states, adding that the antics of people like Melaye cannot stop Asiwaju’s moving victory train.
“Their victory is just like Saudi- Arabia’s victory over Argentina. In the end, Argentine won the golden world cup while Saudi-11Arabia got knocked out on the group stage. So will we knock them out?
On former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his letter, Onoh said he was refraining from commenting on the letter out of respect for the statesman who described as a great ambassador of Nigeria who he grew up knowing as a personal friend of his late father and fondly called uncle Mathew.
“He has chosen a stand, he has chosen a candidate, as a father figure to young Nigerians we look up to him, his actions currently are not in line with that of a statesman, hence I simply urge him to let the electoral process sail smoothly without incitement. He should remember his contributions to the unity of Nigeria.
“I’m blessed to have been present at various interactions he had with my late father and late brother-in-law Dim Chukwuemeka odumegwu Ojukwu, I know how much he loves Nigeria and at this moment he should be a peacemaker and not dragged into politics of division by the opposition.
But Onoh maintained that “Dino Melaye is suffering from an overdose of anti-rabies vaccine. His rare variant of Lycanthropy and Ecstasy is an unusual belief or delusion in which the patient thinks that he/she has been transformed into an animal. In rare cases, the patient believes that another person has been transformed into an animal, is now at a critical stage and should be taken to a veterinary clinic. As a wildlife collector, I wish I had added Dino as one of my zoological exhibits.”
On Pastor Chris Oyahkilome, who claimed that the next president of Nigeria was mentioned in the Bible, Onoh said that Oyahkilome was smartly referring to labour party presidential candidate but forgot that our candidate is also mentioned in the bible.
The APC Campaign spokesman said that the Pastor was a buccaneer skilled in the Vegas gambling safety skills.
“He’s right because our candidate’s name is also mentioned in the bible. There are prophecies about the coming of Propet Muhammad in the Bible. But one clear piece of evidence is Isaiah 42:1-4 where you can find the word Ahmed/Ahmad which is translated as ‘whom I uphold’.
“Behold! My Servant, whom I uphold; My Elect One, in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. He shall not cry out, nor raise his voice, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
“A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench. In truth, He shall bring forth justice. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he has established justice in the earth; and the islands shall wait for his law,’ and our candidate is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Onoh said that Nigeria’s unity was more important than any individual or interest, stating that any aggrieved party or interest can seek legal redress and refrain from promoting inciting comments.
“Be rest assured that we will defend to any length within the ambient of the law our mandate and as we promote renewed hope for Nigeria it also includes renewed hope in our mindset and way of life to foster peace and unity and be assured that we shall hold accountable any element, person, groups not limited to self-acclaimed untouchable characters who attempt, attempted, contributed, promoted not limited to inciting Nigerians to derail the democratic process of our great nation in the course of this election,” Onoh said
