Rasheed Buruji Kashamu, 26-year-old son of late Senator Buruji Kashamu has secured a seat in the Ogun state assembly to represent Ijebu North East constituency.
Kashamu emerged victorious in the just concluded state assembly election, under the People’s Democratic Party PDP where he polled 7,107 votes, defeating his closest opponent, All Progressive Congress APC candidate who garnered 6,866 votes, according to INEC.
