Kogi CP Charges Promoted Officers to Uphold Policing Standards.

The Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, has charged three newly promoted officers to continue to uphold the highest standard and culture of policing to justify their new positions.

The newly promoted officers include: Assistant Commissioner of Police Emmanuel Ojo, Area Commander Ayingba, Assistant Commissioner of Police Peter Essien, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Ali Anslem, AC Operations.

A statement issued on Wednesday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police William Aya stated that their promotions were in recognition of their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service, the Commissioner of Police.

Kogi State Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, on Wednesday formally decorated three senior officers who have been promoted from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police. ”

He said that the decoration ceremony, which was held at the Kogi State Police Command Headquarters, was attended by senior officers, family members, and well-wishers, who gathered to celebrate this significant career milestone.

While addressing the newly promoted officers, Dantawaye, congratulated them on their well-deserved promotion, emphasising that their elevation is a recognition of their hard work, discipline, and dedication to duty.

He urged them to see this new rank as a call to greater responsibility, leadership, and service to the nation.

He further encouraged them to approach their assignments with diligence and professionalism.

He urged them to work with commitment, and cooperate effectively with the Command’s Management Team to enhance security and maintain law and order in the State.

The CP also charged the officers not to relent in their efforts, remain vigilant, and lead by example, stressing that no distress should arise from their jurisdictions under their watch.

According to him, the Kogi State Police Command remains steadfast in its mission to promote professionalism, reward excellence, and ensure that officers are motivated to serve with integrity, courage, and dedication.

The promotion of these officers reflects the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to recognizing and uplifting deserving personnel who demonstrate outstanding performance and leadership qualities.

The Command urges the newly promoted officers to continue upholding the highest standards of policing, as they assume new responsibilities in their respective capacities,” he added.
