KCCN Trains Lagos And Abuja Students In Taekwondo

The Korea Cultural Centre Nigeria has been involved in training sessions for selected public schools in Lagos State and Abuja starting Wednesday, November 15 till Friday, November 24.

In a bid to bolster the grassroots development of Taekwondo in Nigeria, the KCCN has implemented a termly Taekwondo training project targeting specific Basic schools in the Federal Capital Territory and Lagos. This was disclosed in a statement released by the KCCN in Abuja.

“As part of efforts to develop Nigeria taekwondo at the grassroots level, the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria (KCCN) had put in place a termly taekwondo training project for selected Basic schools in the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja) and Lagos.

“The following are the selected five schools in Abuja with permanent taekwondo training infrastructures and two in Lagos involved in the KCCN Public school Taekwondo project: Nigeria-Korea Model school, Piwoyi , Lugbe Road Abuja, Junior Sec School Maitama Abuja, LEA Wuse Zone 3, Abuja, LEA Maitama Abuja, LEA Wuse Zone 2 Abuja, Boys Junior academy, Mandillas, Lagos Island and Kuramo Junior High School, Sandfill, Victoria Island Lagos,” the statement read in part.
