Honourable Chinyere Igwe, a Rivers state House of Representatives member and strong ally of People’s Democratic Party PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has been caught with thousands of dollars, given to him for vote buying, to attain victory in the state.
According to reports, Hon. Igwe confessed that Atiku gave him the sum of $500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Dollars) to pay off security Personnel, electoral officers (INEC) and electorates, to ensure his electoral success in Rivers State, in the presidential election.
Igwe also claimed that a sharing formula was given to him and from a document recovered by the Police, the sharing formula includes INEC officers and other key election personnel. They planned on paying them with Dollars.
