In a surprising turn of events, prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) recently paid a special appreciation visit to the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

Kukuruku News gathered that the delegation was led by Senate President-Elect Godswill Akpabio and Deputy Senate President-Elect Jubril Barau.

Also present were Senator-Elect David Umahi, Senator-Elect Adams Oshiomhole, and several other APC chieftains.

The visit, which took place at Wike’s residence in Abuja, was marked by a warm and cordial atmosphere. Despite belonging to different Political Parties, the event showcased a display of Unity and Statesmanship.

During the meeting, the APC delegation expressed their gratitude to Wike for his contributions to the development of Rivers State and his commitment to the overall progress of Nigeria. They acknowledged his efforts in transforming the State through various infrastructural projects and social interventions.

Responding, Governor Wike expressed his appreciation for the visit and emphasized the need for politicians to prioritize the interests of the people above Party Affiliations. He commended the delegates for their gesture, stating that it exemplified the spirit of Democracy and the need for cooperation across Party Lines.
