Adesina emphasized the Company’s dedication to progress and Innovation, highlighting key milestones during its transformative Journey since 2013.
Notable moments included the Rebranding from IKEDC to IE in 2015, symbolizing their steadfast commitment to advancement.
Adesina also acknowledged significant achievements, such as the successful launch of a Bilateral Project in 2019, showcasing their Collaborative spirit and dedication to Excellence.
The introduction of a 24-hour dedicated Service for Bilateral Operations and automated payment channels was noted for enhancing Customer experiences and setting new Industry benchmarks.
“Our devotion to delivering exceptional Service is evident in our adoption of automated payment channels, which make Transactions seamless and efficient for our Valued Customers,” he stated.
Toibudeen Oduniyi, Director of the Post Transaction Management Department at the Bureau of Public Enterprises and an IE board member, commended the Staff’s Innovative spirit and encouraged them to maintain their commitment to Exceptional Service, ensuring the Company’s continued Leadership in the Industry.
Folake Soetan, the Chief Executive Officer of Ikeja Electric, emphasized the Company’s achievements in acquiring Global certifications in Quality Management System, Occupational Health and Safety Management System, and Environmental Management System.
Soetan highlighted the Importance of Transparency and accountability, noting the successful deployment of 830,292 meters to Customers, empowering them to manage their Energy consumption efficiently.
Under Soetan’s leadership, the Company achieved a significant reduction in aggregate technical commercial and collection losses, from 44 per cent in 2015 to below 20 percent, demonstrating their commitment to Operational efficiency and sustainable energy practices.
She also acknowledged the contributions of Ikeja Electric Plc’s dedicated Employee Volunteer Scheme, which actively engages Employees in Community development initiatives.
