FCMB Introduces Innovative Product, FCMB Airtime Advance, Allowing Customers to Borrow for Airtime Purchases
First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has launched an Innovative Product called FCMB Airtime Advance, which enables Customers to borrow between N200 and N5,000 directly from their Bank Accounts to purchase Airtime, regardless of their Financial status.
The FCMB Airtime Advance solution aims to provide immediate relief to Customers who urgently need Airtime for phone calls, text messages, or other essential Communication activities.
With this product, Customers no longer need to worry about how to top up their Phone lines with Airtime.
It is an innovative proprietary Product of FCMB designed to bridge the funding gap and eliminate the discomfort of being disconnected during important calls due to Insufficient Airtime.
Customers, including those with existing FastCash loans, can access the Airtime Advance based on eligibility by dialing FCMB’s USSD code of *329# or via the loan string 32911#.
The loan offers flexible repayment cycles, and the repayment is deducted from the Customer’s Account.
Additionally, qualified customers can purchase Airtime Advance for their family, friends, and associates.
During the Product launch in Lagos, FCMB’s Managing Director, Mrs. Yemisi Edun, expressed excitement about being the first Bank in Nigeria to Introduce an Airtime Advance Product.
She emphasized the Bank’s commitment to supporting Individuals, households, and Businesses across the Nation in meeting critical needs.
Mrs. Edun urged Nigerians to take advantage of FCMB Airtime Advance while highlighting the Bank’s dedication to delivering value-added digital Banking solutions and a Superior Customer Experience.
Mr. Shamsideen Fashola, FCMB’s Divisional Head of Personal Banking, emphasized the necessity of the Airtime Advance product, addressing the embarrassment caused by the inability to purchase Airtime or getting disconnected during calls due to Insufficient balance.
He emphasized that FCMB’s solution would enable more Nigerians to stay connected by providing them with access to Funds for topping up their phone lines.
Mr. Fashola assured customers that FCMB would continue to offer a wide range of retail Banking Products that cater to the market, lifestyle, and needs of the people, leveraging Technology and Innovation to provide a seamless Customer Experience at all touchpoints.
