Former Enugu State Governor and Senator representing Enugu East, Dr Chimaroke Nnamani has lost his re-election bid to the Labour Party candidate, Kelvin Chukwu.
The LP candidate polled 69,136 to defeat Chimaroke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who scored 48, 701 votes.
Sir Kelvin Chukwu is the younger brother of Oyibo Chukwu.
He replaced his brother who was murdered few days before the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections
