The Director General, Ekiti State Office of Transformation and Service Delivery, Dr John Ekundayo, has said the state’s Strategic Pillar Monitoring System, tagged Ekiti Dashboard, is to enhance efficiency by providing seamless and real-time monitoring of government programmes and projects.
Ekundayo, who is a Special Adviser to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, said the tool, which was recently inaugurated by the governor, would, among others, enable the government to make informed decisions and approach project management.
Speaking with The KUKURUKU on Saturday in a chat with The KUKURUKU, Ekundayo said, “The dashboard is more than just a tool, it represents our commitment to transparency, efficiency and result-driven governance by harnessing the power of data-cutting-edge technology in revolutionising our approach to project management.

It enables us to track progress, make informed decisions, depict transparency and ensure accountability.
Moreover, it would ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing among ministries, departments and agencies in the state.”
Ekundayo, who said the initiative would aid prompt access to project information for executive decision-making, added, “The system would address the need for the government as a contract awarding institution to ensure that projects are well executed, delivered on time, and ultimately be of value to the targeted beneficiaries.”
He said the dashboard was a testament to Oyebanji’s dedication to leveraging technology for good governance.
With the dashboard, the state has embarked on a new era of collaboration, innovation and excellence.
I urge all stakeholders to utilise this tool to drive positive change and ensure successful delivery of our projects in the trajectory towards the shared prosperity mantra of this administration,” he said
The DG called on state executive council members and accounting officers “to support the MDA’s champions in onboarding projects to populate the Ekiti Dashboard.”
Oyebanji, while inaugurating the Dashboard in Ado Ekiti last month, described the initiative as part of his administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in public service.
