The death toll from Israeli strikes in the central Gaza Strip has increased to 25, including five children, as more bodies have been recovered. Palestinian hospital officials reported that 16 people were initially killed in two strikes on Thursday at the Nuseirat refugee camp, but additional bodies were brought in overnight.
Airstrikes on Friday in Zuwaida and Deir al-Balah claimed four more lives, while an early morning airstrike near Beirut killed three people and wounded five. Israel’s military stated they targeted armed militants in central and southern Gaza.
