The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adewale Adeniyi, has announced the active Collaboration between the Service and Technology experts, as well as Cybersecurity Specialists.
This Collaboration aims to Implement advanced Security protocols that will effectively prevent any attempts to Compromise the E-auction platform upon its resumption.

He addressed Journalists, explaining the delay in the Functionality of the Customs E-auction portal and underscoring the Importance of fortifying the System against potential Security breaches.
The E-auction system, Initially designed to Improve transparency and efficiency in disposing of seized Goods, has faced challenges in the past due to Unauthorized access by malicious entities.

The Customs boss emphasized the necessity of strengthening the platform’s Security features in response to hacking incidents, prioritizing the creation of a robust defense against Cyber threats.
