In the midst of his ongoing health issues, Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), met with a British Consul, Ms. Heather Wilkie, while in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS). According to Kanu’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, the two discussed Kanu’s health and his extrajudicial detention, but other topics were not made public. Ejimakor visited Kanu with SAN Machukwu-Ume and Barr Maxwell Opara. Kanu has been detained in a DSS facility in Abuja.
