The Inspector General of Police IGP, Usman Alkali Baba CFR, has banned Edo State-established and owned security outfits/organizations, including quasi-security units, and privately-owned guard and security outfits, from participating in election security management in Edo state.
Information reaching kukuruku News, the IGP warns State Security outfit not to operate on election day.
According to it, “Any state security outfit found on the Election Day will be arrested and handover to the Security personnel for prosecution according to the Law.”
