President Muhammadu Buhari is set to confer title of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on the President elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu come Thursday 25, 2023.
In the same vein, the Vice President -elect, Kashim Shettima will also be honoured with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) title on the same day.
Special Assistant to the President Tolu Ogunlesi made the disclosure in a tweet on Thursday (today).
According to him, there will be an official handover of Transition Documents to the incoming Administration on the same day.
Ogunlesi wrote: “This is going to be the most organized and seamless Presidential Transition in the history of Nigeria, enabled by Executive Order 14 signed by PMB.”
He added that, “there will be an Innaugural Lecture on May 27, 2023, by HE Uhuru Kenyatta, former President of Kenya.”
