Burna Boy, the Nigerian singer also known as Damini Ogulu, was Honored as the recipient of the Prestigious ‘Best International Act’ award at the recently concluded BET Awards Ceremony.

The event took place on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, United States of America.

Although Burna Boy was not physically present at the show, he emerged Victorious over strong contenders such as French singer Aya Nakamura, British Superstars Ella Mai, Stormzy, and Central Cee, as well as his compatriot Ayra Starr to secure the coveted accolade.

This remarkable achievement further solidifies Burna Boy’s Position as the most decorated Individual in the History of the BET Awards “Best International Act” category, having now received the Honor four times.

His reign as the winner spans three consecutive years, with previous victories in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
