American businessman Donald Trump on Monday became the 47th president of the United States, marking his second time as the country’s top leader.
The 78-year-old was sworn in at the West Front of the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
Trump’s family, including his wife, Melania, and 18-year-old son, Barron Trump, were all in attendance.
The inauguration ceremony was stolen by the show of aura and elegance by the seven-foot 18-year-old boy after Trump introduced him to the cheering crowd and credited his election win to him for convincing his age peers to vote for him with the introduction of podcasts, including Joe Rogan’s popular podcast.
He said, “I have a very tall son named Barron. Has anyone ever heard of him? He knew the youth vote. You know we won the youth vote by 36 points and he was saying, ‘Dad, you got to go out and do this one and that one.’ And we did a lot of them.
And he respects them all; he understood them very well. And he said, ‘You got to go out. Do Joe Rogan, do all these guys. They were all great. We did them all.”
