Though details of how the accident occurred remain unclear and no injuries were reported as of press time, the incident has reignited online fascination with luxury, and the wealth-driven spectacles on Nigerian roads.

The six-second clip, shared on X.com (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday by user #dammiedammie35, showed a burgundy-colored Cybertruck and a black G-Wagon involved in the crash.

“Cyber truck jam G-Wagon keh? Who go pay who like this?” the caption read, capturing the general mood of online spectators who were more intrigued by the high-value nature of the vehicles involved.

“That cyber truck won’t damage much but that g wagon suffers from damage,” #Obaji_esq commented on X.com.

Another user, #Omolomo_o, wrote, “Na two rich people, dem go settle am,” while #Magik_jay_ added, “Them nor dey put mouth for rich man wahala.”

That is what happens when the both of you are dragging who drives the bigger car. Who will give the road for the other? How did this happen?” #TheRealGulu questioned.

“This one na aura for aura,” #thatboyfeezy wrote, while #La3i3i wondered how the vehicle would be repaired, “Shae na morufu the mechanic wan do front bumper for cyber truck? Where he wan even see the parts?

On Instagram, #ekeneudemadu wrote, “This one is a luxurious accident. Chai!”

Rabiu Baba also wrote on Facebook, “Na this kinda accident you go dey admire the victim.” While #ACTIVE_SQUARE on X.com said, “Another day being poor saves you expensive troubles.”

“If nah the real owners they go exchange contact but if nah drivers they go exchange blow,” Clinton Chinedu wrote on Facebook.

A Cybertruck had reportedly split into two earlier March in Texas by an out-of-control Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

The wreck reportedly involved a G-Wagon driver who suffered a medical emergency and veered off the road, crashing into seven parked cars, one of which was a Cybertruck.
