The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) extends Congratulations to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat following the Court of Appeal’s affirmation of their Victory in the March 18 Governorship Election.

Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos State APC Chairman, expressed Appreciation for the Judiciary’s verdict in a statement on Thursday.

Ojelabi emphasized that the appellate Court’s ruling underscores the Confidence that Lagos residents have in the Sanwoolu Administration.

He conveyed the elation of all Party Leaders and members regarding the Court’s decision, noting that it aligns with the favorable Ruling from the Lagos State Elections Petition Tribunal.

“The APC as a party acknowledges the meticulous work carried out by the Nigerian Judiciary in reaching this conclusion,” Ojelabi stated, adding that the affirmation highlights the trustworthiness and reliability of the Country’s Judicial system.

He commended the thoroughness of the Judicial process, noting that all Issues were scrutinized extensively.

Ojelabi praised the Judiciary for its diligence in ensuring a Fair and just resolution.

The Court of Appeal in Lagos dismissed the Issues raised by the PDP candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, and the Labour Party candidate, Mr. Gbadebo Rhode-Viviour, against the Election Tribunal’s Judgment.

The Tribunal had previously, on September 25, rejected Adediran and Rhode-Viviour’s petition challenging Sanwo-Olu’s Victory.
